Vegetables are a very healthy food group. Doctors are always saying eat plenty of vegetables. This is very true, but some vegetables are not good for patients that suffer from gout. Mushrooms have a high level of purines too. When the level of purines are high in the vegetable, then these increases the uric acid production in your body and this is the reason why mushrooms is one of the veggies that is not recommended for gout suffers.

Cauliflower is another one of those high in purine vegetable. Peas and beans are also high in purines as well. Though all of these vegetables are good for many folks they just may make your uric acid levels raise because of the high purines found in all of these vegetables. Odd that somebody would say don’t eat spinach, broccoli or cauliflower. You can maybe try it, but just don’t make a habit of eating these that often.
