After 25 years of pain and suffering caused by gout or psuedogout or whatever the doctors could not agree on, after medications that did little to help, my syptoms have disappeared for over 14 months with only 1 small incident. My cure? I stopped taking vitamins. Most vitamins contain calcium from a "natural source".
I found this to be coral calcium, taken from some form of coral, a member of the shellfish family. I know I am reactive to all forms of shellfish, this includes lobster, shrimp, oysters, crabs and many more. Simple conclusion but it took me 25 years and an incredible amount of pain finally discover the connection. Never a word from any health practicioner. I realize this is not a cureall, but has helped me.
